Presented by the Canadian Society of Evidence-Based Policing and the Edmonton Police Service, Building Bridges 2026 brings Canada's evidence-based policing community together in Western Canada for the first time.

 

Join police professionals, researchers, academics, public safety partners, and fellow Can-SEBP members for practical learning, knowledge sharing, and collaboration focused on turning evidence into action.

 

This year's program features internationally recognized leaders in evidence-based policing, including Dr. Lawrence Sherman, Dr. Cynthia Lum, Alex Murray, and Dr. Isabelle Bartkowiak-Théron.  Presentations and discussions will explore crime prevention and operational strategies, leadership, artificial intelligence and emerging technology, analytics, organizational effectiveness, community engagement, and more.
